In short
This website runs no analytics and no advertising, sets no cookies and loads nothing from other services. Personal data is processed only to host the site and to answer booking requests.
Who is responsible
Alija Skomorac, Zürich, Switzerland
Email: alija@skomorac.com
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA in Switzerland. When you visit it, the server records technical data in log files – your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system – to run the site securely. These logs are kept for a limited time and not combined with other data.
Booking form
When you send the booking form, the details you enter – your name and email address, and whatever else you fill in (phone, company, project, location, what you are booking me for, dates, budget, your message) – are used to answer your request and to prepare a possible collaboration.
The request is sent by email to me, and a confirmation goes to the address you gave. The emails are kept in my mailbox, which is also hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland. To stop the form from being misused, a one-way hash of your IP address is stored on the server for one hour.
Your details are kept as long as the request and any collaboration need them, and deleted after that unless the law requires keeping them.
If you write to me directly, your message and your details are used in the same way, to answer you.
Films and links
The films and film excerpts on this website are served from its own server; nothing is embedded from YouTube or any other platform, so watching them sends no data to anyone else.
Links to YouTube, Instagram and other websites take you to those services, where their own privacy policies apply.
Cookies
The website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Fonts, images and films are served from this website’s own server.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can ask what data about you is processed, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable form, and withdraw a consent you have given. Write to alija@skomorac.com.
You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or to the data protection authority where you live.
